**NEW** Motorcycle Maintenance Winterization Seminar

Safety Services Nova Scotia is now offering a basic maintenance seminar.

Geared towards individuals that would like to perform some or all of their basic motorcycle maintenance procedures but were unsure of what or how to do it. 

Partnering with Cycles Ink, Safety Services Nova Scotia is hosting Cluade Swansburg, a graduate of the American Motorcycle Institute, Daytona beach Florida and a Red Seal Licensed Motorcycle Technician through Nova Scotia Apprentice Board, to deliver a top class seminar on basic motorycle maintenance. He brings with him over 15 years of maintenance experience to the seminar to share.

Motorcycle Training Course

***All classroom sessions will be completed in one evening prior to practical training**

A 20 hour program that provides you with the basic skills and confidence you will need in today’s traffic environment. We will supply you with a motorcycle and give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to get the most from your motorcycling experience. You will need a DOT approved motorcycle helmet, gloves, sturdy jacket & pants (leather or denim), and boots that cover your ankle.
 
**PLEASE NOTE – This course can be physically demanding with 14 hours of riding during the course and it may not be suitable for all students.  If you have any medical problems that will prevent you from pushing a motorcycle, please call for further information**

Motorcycle Refresher Course
 
This 8 hour course is designed for persons who already have their motorcycle license and have been away from riding for awhile or would like to refine their skills.  The course will include such things as slow speed and high speed manoeuvres, curves and emergency collision avoidance techniques.  You can use your own motorcycle or, for an extra fee, rent one of ours.  If you are using a motorcycle that is not registered to you, please bring written authorization from the registered owner.

Motorcycle Advanced Course

Designed for individuals comfortable operating their motorcycle, this 8 hour course will provide a safe and instructional setting for you to test yourself and advance your skill set through self discovery with professional coaching.  It includes an on-road exercise using your own motorcycle.  Experience and professional training are integral parts of lifelong learning.

Scooter Training Course

Learn how to safely control a scooter in a variety of conditions including: slow speeds, tight turns, collision avoidance and proper road speedsThis is a 20 hour course taught on automatic scooters.

Private Lessons

Sometimes 20 hours isn't quite enough time to become fully comforatble on a motorcycle.  To meet this need we have developed a private "one on one" training curriculum to help our students get the comfort level required to be a safe and competent rider.
